For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. ~ Matthew 18:20
Context
The Diocesan Season of Spiritual Renewal invites Anglicans to know and love God more deeply. Hearing the call of the SSOR, COTR has reimagined its catechism program for 2025 called Living in God’s Love. This is a conversational-styled program that is exploratory in nature. It will run from February 2 to April 19. All are welcome. Don’t worry you don’t need to commit to each week. Come as you feel called. We will meet in the Boardroom on Sundays at Redeemer from 12 to 2 PM.
Living in God’s Love will be offered in two parts. In Part One Longing for More, participants are invited to deepen their relationship with God, one another, creation, and the Church. It is for anyone at any stage of their faith journey who longs to discover or rediscover God in their life. This part of Living in God’s Love will run from February 2 to March 2. Registration is not required. Come as you feel called.
Part Two What We Believe, is a formational process for people wishing to receive the sacraments at the Easter Vigil. Those sacraments include baptism, confirmation, reception into the Anglican Church, and blessing. In this part of Living in God’s Love we will deepen the awareness and learnings that emerged in part one, and explore what it means to live in God’s love as an Anglican. This part of Living in God’s Love will run from March 16 to April 19. If you are interested in this part of the program, either as a candidate or sponsor or would like to explore what Anglicans believe, please reach out to Rev. Paige Souter
