Together\, we share in recalling the birth of the baby Jesus through story\, carols and the Eucharist. Whether you find a seat encircling the action or gather in the midst of the congregation to be closer to the action\, there is a place for you in this celebration. \nAs is our custom\, we gather both in the church building and through the live stream on our YouTube channel. \n \nAs we move into a season where colds and viruses increase\, wearing a mask in the church is welcomed as part of our care for one another. \nOur ability to continue to offer outreach support through the Common Table and prayerful presence to the whole community is possible thanks to the generous donations of parishioners and friends of the community. SUMMARY:Island Pilgrimage and Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Saturday\, September 13\, for a visit to the idyllic Toronto Islands\, a Eucharist at St Andrew-by-the-Lake celebrating creation\, and fun with friends both old and new. \nThere will be a short coffee time as we gather at the church\, with coffee and pastries provided. We will celebrate the Eucharist together at approximately 10:45 AM in the Church and afterwards enjoy lunch and games outside on the lawn. Please bring your own lunch and beverages. We will make our pilgrimage come rain or shine. However\, in the event of really inclement weather\, we will cancel and advise the community by sending a special eNews the day before. We look forward to seeing you there! \nHow to get there: We will take the 9:30 AM ferry from the Jack Layton ferry docks to Ward’s Island and walk from there to the church. There will also be a van to transport pilgrims once on the Island. Please enter through the ferry dock gates and gather in the queue for the Ward’s ferry. You can purchase your ferry ticket beforehand.

SUMMARY:Celebration of Ministry
DESCRIPTION:We gather at 4 PM to celebrate and bless the ministry of four of the newest members to the Redeemer ministry team: Lor (Children\, Youth\, and Families)\, Morgan (AV Tech)\, Brianna (Office staff)\, and Tom (Common Table). We begin with a service of blessing and continue to break bread with a potluck meal. All are invited to be part of this moment in our life as a community. Sign-up sheets for the potluck are on the wall by the kitchenette window.
