The conversations are lively\, and the coffee is ready and waiting!\n\nJune 7: Refugee Sponsorship is about loving our neighbours.\n\nOur guest speaker will be Marin Lehmann-Bender\, Director of the Anglican United Refugee Alliance. In the fall of 2026\, the Redeemer Refugee Committee hopes to sponsor a small family. What does this look like? How do we get started? Marin will explain how the federal government’s Blended Visa Referral Program works and how the committee uses it to help the stranger. You will also learn the difference between a private sponsorship\, an asylum seeker and the Blended Officer Referral program.
