Saturday, June 1, 2019, 10:00am - 11:30am
We will explore a reconstructed 15th century Iroquoian village with our guide and learn about local First Nations history during our tour. Afterwards, we will watch the turtles paddling in the meromictic lake and enjoy a picnic lunch. (Everyone will bring their own lunch.) Some participants will enjoy trekking the 7.2 km (round trip) trail through the Nassagaweya Canyon to Rattlesnake Point.
The tour will begin at 10am and last 1.5 hours. Participants are encouraged to allow 1.5 hours to travel from Toronto to the Crawford Lake Conservation Area. www.conservationhalton.ca/culturalheritage
