Across centuries and cultures, people have gathered as a part of sacred traditions to mark significant events in life.
Fifth-century bishop Saint Augustine described many of these moments — what the Church calls “sacraments” — as outward and visible signs of inward and invisible grace. From baptism to marriage to rituals at the time of death, these moments deepen our life and faith in tangible and transformative ways.

Weddings
Your wedding day is an important moment in your new life together. We welcome the opportunity to preside at the weddings of both Redeemer members and those desiring to become members, including same-sex couples.

Baptisms
In baptism we are a new creation, born into the life of the church, and commissioned to be Christ's Body in the world. Although we continue the Anglican tradition of baptizing infants and young children, baptism is also increasingly common for those who come to — or renew — their faith as adults. Adults interested in preparing for baptism or confirming their baptismal vows will want to learn more about our Catechesis program.

Funerals
We seek to be a source of support when a death unfolds, for the dying as well as family and friends. There are several rites that our priests can provide in the days leading up to and following a death; one of the most significant is the funeral.
We are available to help develop a service—ahead of time or as the need arises—that commemorates and gives thanks for their life. To learn more, please call our office or send us a note.
