Children, Youth and Families at Redeemer Church the whole family can get exited about!
Families come in many forms; your family is welcome here. During the school year we offer our children, youth and their families opportunties to learn, worship and explore together.
Where does my child go on Sundays?
On Sunday mornings, we gather for in-person worship at 10:30am. There’s room for restless bodies to roam and an activity table with resources that help tell the stories of faith we listen to in the service, and we don’t mind a fussy baby.
The children are keen leaders in the liturgy, bringing forward the gifts of bread and wine, assisting with the offertory and leading processions from time to time.
Our safe ministry protocol ensures that all our leaders have training in their ministry area and have completed a background check. If you have any concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us using the form below and someone will get back to you.

Our Youngest Members
At this time, we do not have a nursery program for our youngest members.
It bears repeating: we don’t mind a fussy baby. Caregivers are welcome to walk about and if you need to find a quiet space to be for a while, ask one of the welcome team who will guide you to a place that is helpful to you.
Church School (JK through Grade 6)
At this time, we are dreaming new dreams for our church school program. Vestry (our annual meeting) just approved hiring a Children, Youth and Family Minister to join in supporting our kids and their families.
There is still lots for the children of the community to engage in. The activity table with resources particular to the Sunday lessons or season is a popular place to gather (and materials can be taken to the seats as well!). From time to time, we engage in special worship services and family activities.
Redeemer Youth (Grade 7 through High School)
As with our children's program, the youth group is exploring what their time together looks like and how they want to be engaged in the life and ministry of the Redeemer community. In the past, they have prepared meals for the Common Table outreach ministry of the parish, explored the questions that are emerging for them in the world around us and how their faith helps to understand the issues they meet, and had a lot of fun!
