All Worship Services Suspended

Bishop Andrew Asbil issued a pastoral statement late on Friday, March 13 regarding the ongoing responses to COVID-19. In it announced that it is the decision of the bishops of the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario which includes the Diocese of Toronto, that all worship services are to be temporarily suspended effective Sunday, March 15.

Bishop Andrew noted in his letter, “We make this decision with a heavy heart, not out of a sense of fear but in confidence that it is the right, safe and caring decision to make for the Church, and for the world, at this time.”

The pastoral team, in consultation with members of the executive committee, will be working on worship and other resources for the community will provide further updates as soon as possible. That information will be shared by email as well as through our Facebook page and on the website.

We are also working with Angie Hocking, our Director of Outreach and Community Engagement on ways, in the days to come, to support the community that gathers at the Common Table.

Please hold each other in your prayers.
