We are an inclusive community.
We love welcoming people! Regardless of whether you come from a different faith tradition, or none at all – our doors are open wide to you. Regardless of whether you are in the middle of a successful career or without a job at the moment; married with children, divorced and remarried, or arriving on your own – there are others like you in our church. Regardless of your sexual orientation, gender identity, or personal history – you are invited here.
The Redeemer is a community exploring what faith and spiritually mean for us, both individually and as a community, with open minds and respect for the different places on the journey we find ourselves. While we are followers of Jesus in the Anglican tradition, we also live with a deep awareness that we don't have all the answers. We're not the kind of community that asks you to check your questions, doubts, or brain at the door.
We have multiple opportunities to join us each week. Our main services are on Sunday mornings at 9.30am and 11.15am. Both services are friendly and casual and places where you’ll receive a warm welcome.
Our 9.30am service tends to be more informal; a place where you'll see lots of kids (yours are welcome, of course) and more guitars. On the other hand, if you love choral music and classic hymns, you might find more of what you're looking for at 11.15am. These services typically last a little more than an hour, and we always gather for coffee, cookies and conversation following the service.

When you arrive, someone will offer you a program leaflet and a hymn book. Find yourself a seat wherever you like, and relax. The leaflet gives you a guide to the service (and additionally contains information on other things going on within the church).
Services are mostly made up of some singing, some listening and reflection, and some prayer. There are some beautiful rituals (including Eucharist) which we hope you'll find meaningful, whether you take part or just observe.
Beginners are always welcome.
Kids and Youth
Our 9.30am service on Sunday mornings is designed with families in mind and we have programs most Sundays for kids and teens. And there is nursery care available at both 9.30am and 11:15am.
P.s: If you're concerned that your kids will make too much noise.
Don’t worry! We love the sound of children among us.
