The annual Vestry meeting calls all members of the Redeemer community to come together for a combined worship service and meeting to receive reports, approve the 2020 budget and adopt the strategic plan that will help to shape our ministry. This year, our annual meeting is on Sunday, February 23. In a change from previous years, this year we are combining the worship service and meeting into one event.
We begin at 10AM with the opening part of the liturgy: opening song, the readings which will include the children sharing the story of David through the graphic novel they have been preparing and the Incumbent’s charge to vestry (a sermon/state of the parish reflection). That will lead us into the part of the morning where there are presentations on the finances, Financial Vestry Reports 2020, ministry area reports and our Strategic Plan, Non-Financial Reports and Resourcing for Mission: Strategic Plan 2020-2022, and motions relevant to all of those.
At the conclusion of the vestry meeting, we will move into the Eucharist and conclude the morning with the usual time of coffee and conversation. It is the hope of the executive committee that the liturgy and meeting will conclude by 12:45PM.
