Compline – Online
Sunday, September 13, 2020, 7:00pm
Compline is a Christian tradition of bedtime prayers. The name comes from a Latin word meaning ‘completion’ (completorium). These traditional prayers unveil God’s grace in all of our endings—the day’s end, the week’s end, and our last nightfall.
The community gathers for a short Compline service through Zoom on Sunday nights at 7 PM and send each other off about a half-hour later. Please join in as often as you are able.
The link and phone numbers for the service will be sent out by eNews (email) on Friday evening. If you do not receive the email and need the link to the Zoom information, please send an email no later than 6 PM on Sunday (click on the word email to send your message). In your request for the Zoom information, please provide a note about your connection to the Redeemer community. We recognize most names but don’t want to miss forwarding the information to someone because we aren’t certain who you are.
Our ability to continue to offer outreach support through the Common Table and prayerful presence to the whole community is possible thanks to the generous donations of parishioners and friends of the community. If you would like to share in this on-going work, your gifts are gratefully received. Thank you for your generosity.
