Sunday Explorations
Sunday, November 8, 9:30am
Our informal drop-in conversations and presentations continue. Come downstairs to the Board Room for 45 minutes of discussion and presentations from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM on topics listed here week by week. There’s no advance preparation, and no commitment from one session to the next. But there is coffee, along with an opportunity to get to know others better in an environment of open mutual sharing.
Peace Sunday 2026
“Remembering the past can give rise to dangerous insights, and the established society seems to be apprehensive of the subversive contents of memory…Such a memory breaks through the spell of the ruling consciousness.”
How do the past events of a faith community speak to us today? What reflections might these words of Johann Baptist Metz provoke in the context of the lament and hope of Peace Sunday, 2026?
