Alexandra (Ali) graduated from the University of Toronto in 2016 with a degree in English Literature and Diaspora & Transnational Studies, and is currently working on her Master of Theological Studies in Development degree at Wycliffe College. Over the course of her undergraduate studies she volunteered in many community organizations and explored different expressions of spirituality and worship around the world. Feeling particularly called to youth ministry, and the joy of sharing Jesus with those who are encountering the gospel for the first time, she started volunteering with the Redeemer youth group in 2013 and was thrilled to step into the role of Pastoral Associate in 2017. Alexandra is passionate about living a cross-centred life and journeying alongside young people as they grow in faith. She also serves as the Area Youth Ministry Co-ordinator for the episcopal area of York-Credit Valley, where she helps to resource and develop youth ministries in over 30 churches. She is committed to making sure that young people are given a voice at the table and welcomed fully into the life of the church.
