  • Chris is a long-time member of the Church of the Redeemer. Through his work at parish, diocesan and national church levels, he has been at the fore-front of the conversation about full inclusion of LGBTQ members in the Anglican Church of Canada. Serving as a lay member of synod in the Diocese of Toronto and as a lay delegate to General Synod, and at numerous gatherings, meetings and panel discussions, both within the diocese and beyond, he has helped to shape the conversation and the resolutions that have been part of all of those meetings. Chris has been an important voice in those same conversations within our community.

Chris’s leadership is not limited to this issue alone. He encourages the liturgical ministry of those who are communion ministers at the 9:30 am service, has taught church school and enthusiastically supports the leadership of the youngest members of our parish.
