Five years ago Nate moved to Toronto to study just south of the Redeemer at Wycliffe College, Toronto. Growing up in Saskatchewan he spent most of his time with his feet on the ice or his nose in a book. After being won over by Jesus in his teens, he discovered the biblical languages during his Bachelor’s degree. He hasn’t been able to shake the Bible since.
Now Nate is a PhD student in Theological Studies at Wycliffe and the University of Toronto. He studies the Old Testament and the sermons of 17th century poet-priest John Donne. More than just about anything else, Nate loves to learn and to help others learn.
