In mid-March, we asked and you responded, with ‘more than we can ask or imagine’!
And in the weeks since you have stayed the course so that our vital ministries continue to thrive at the corner – and virtually.
Holy Week and Easter services were recorded and/or live-streamed. These were liturgically and musically rich! Weekly worship services, via Zoom, continue to attract over 140 households. The Pastoral Care team has doubled in size and members continue to stay in touch with those on the parish list who welcome a telephone visit. Church school activity packages go out to families and, along with the youth group, “zoom” into weekly gatherings. The young adults recently group met for conversation over a virtual brunch! Creative programming continues through Marginalia, Learning@Redeemer, Indigenous Solidarity Working Group and Creation Matters.
The Common Table continues its “street café” serving 150 hot meals daily provided by our restaurant partners. Our guests also enjoy conversation at a safe distance with our dedicated staff and volunteers and a Community Newsletter with up-to-date information and a crossword!

Our ability to continue to offer outreach support through the Common Table and prayerful presence to the whole community is possible thanks to the generous donations of parishioners and friends of the community. If you would like to share in this on-going work, your gifts are gratefully received. Thank you for your generosity.
