Island Pilgrimage and Picnic

Please join us on Saturday, September 13, for a visit to the idyllic Toronto Islands, a Eucharist at St Andrew-by-the-Lake celebrating creation, and fun with friends both old and new.

There will be a short coffee time as we gather at the church, with coffee and pastries provided. We will celebrate the Eucharist together at approximately 10:45 AM in the Church and afterwards enjoy lunch and games outside on the lawn. Please bring your own lunch and beverages. We will make our pilgrimage come rain or shine. However, in the event of really inclement weather, we will cancel and advise the community by sending a special eNews the day before. We look forward to seeing you there!

How to get there: We will take the 9:30 AM ferry from the Jack Layton ferry docks to Ward’s Island and walk from there to the church. There will also be a van to transport pilgrims once on the Island. Please enter through the ferry dock gates and gather in the queue for the Ward’s ferry. You can purchase your ferry ticket beforehand.
