The seeds of the Rev’d Susan Haig’s call to ministry — as well as her passions for mental health and social justice — were sown during a year living and working at the original l’Arche community in France. After ordination in 2008, she served All Saints, Sherbourne Street and Church of the Incarnation before serving as part-time incumbent of St. Theodore of Canterbury in North York. In 2018, Susan was appointed Associate Priest at Church of the Redeemer and in 2024 became an honorary assistant.
Prior to ordination and her work as a psychotherapist in private practice, Susan practised law at Legal Aid Ontario for 20 years following her call to the bar.
She is the proud mother of Sarah, Seth, Hannah and Dave (son-in-law) and finds great joy in the company of her grandsons Logan and Cole. She practises yoga and loves to cycle, hike, read, listen to music, and cook.
