Maundy Thursday – Zoom
Thursday, April 1, 2021, 7:00pm - 9:00pm
On Maundy Thursday, April 1 at 7 PM, we remember the night that Jesus gathered with his friends and gave them a new commandment – to love one another. In this service of song, readings, and reflection, opportunities for households to participate with activities in their home will be offered. The service will conclude with a one-hour garden watch.
This will be a Zoom-live service including the garden watch. The link and phone numbers for the service will be sent out by eNews (email) on Thursday morning. If you do not receive the email and need the link to the Zoom information, please send an email no later than 6:45 PM (click on the word email to send your message). In your request for the Zoom information, please provide a note about your connection to the Redeemer community. We recognize most names but don’t want to miss forwarding the information to someone because we aren’t certain who you are.
What do you need for this service?
The bulletin: Maundy Thursday
A basin and jug of warm, soapy water and some towels for foot-washing (if you wish)
Bread and wine for the Agape meal
A bible and prayer resources of your choice
A candle or other items that will help to focus your prayers during the garden watch.
Our ability to continue to offer outreach support through the Common Table and prayerful presence to the whole community is possible thanks to the generous donations of parishioners and friends of the community. If you would like to share in this on-going work, your gifts are gratefully received. Thank you for your generosity.
