Andrew is glad to be joining the Redeemer as an Assistant Curate. He is thrilled to learn, support, and collaborate as part of his ministry here. Andrew has a Certificate of Anglican Studies (from Wycliffe College), a MA in Theology (from St. Michaels College) and a BTh (from Huron College). Andrew grew up in the Lutheran Church and has found a new welcome home in the Anglican Church since moving to Toronto. He brings a diverse set of prior experiences in ministry from various lay roles at St. George-the-Martyr, ministry with children, youth, families and young adults at St. James Cathedral, and a year of suburban ministry in Mississauga.
In his spare time, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and three cats, drinking good coffee, playing board games with friends, or getting out for a run in High Park. He is looking forward to getting back to rock climbing and axe throwing (as pandemic restrictions allow).
Andrew brings a passion for faith formation, pastoral care, and creative liturgy, and looks forward to growing in these areas during his curacy. He also loves the city and is excited to be working back downtown, discovering the neighbourhood, and meeting the community. He is thrilled to discover what God is up to in the Church and in the neighbourhood and longs to partner with that movement.
