Last Spring, we entered into a time of experimentation with a new worship service for those who want a quieter, simpler opportunity to gather for worship in the church on Sunday morning. We called that service Coffee Church and discovered what worked well (so much of it!) and the things that the community yearned for that weren’t yet part of the service.
Over the summer, the staff planning team updated the liturgy and is excited to gather with the community for Simple Gifts – a service of song, reflection, prayer and communion starting on Sunday, September 6 at 9 AM. Gathering in the round at the front of the church, Lor will lead the service, Mike and Jill will bring the music, and one of our priests will be there to preside at the Eucharist.
